Contestants' Workdays

Group 颽' (Kazakhstan):
We like Jurmala very much. We enjoy the atmosphere of the place, new friends and working with such high class professionals as Alexander Revzin. The adrenaline which we get on the stage is really necessary to us. It's cool! Just an hour ago we had a telephone conversation with the last year's contestant and our fellow-country-woman Dil'naz Akhmadieva. She wished good luck to everybody and said she would be happy to come to Jurmala once again.
Vadim Azarkh (Russia):
From 'The New Wave' I expect new offers from producers and getting famous. It's an important stage in my singing career. And any way, Jurmala is a gorgeous place! The beach, the sea and the sun - just great!
Hatuna (Estonia):
Jurmala is very much like Piarna. The atmosphere of the festival is very good. When I was going here I was afraid that relationships between the contestants will be very tense because we are competitors. However we've made good friends in the past few days. I think that the right to take part in such a competition is a victory in itself.
Group "ÀÚËÎ" (Uzbekistan):
We expect from 'The New Wave' very many smiles, joy, excellent mood. It's great here! And the contest's results don't really matter. And something else: you've got a very fine climate here in Jurmala. And it is very hot in our home country, plus 50 degrees Celsius in Uzbekistan now. Can you imagine that?
